Tracking Your Remittance

Faysal Bank runs a dedicated Remittance Tracker at digionboard.faysalbank.com, letting both sender and beneficiary check a transfer's status online rather than calling the helpline for an update. For phone support, the general helpline (021-111-060-606) also handles remittance queries.

Converting a Remittance Into a Bank Account

If you regularly receive remittances via cash-over-counter, Faysal Bank offers the Islami Hamara Pakistan Remittance Account — a Shariah-compliant Current or Savings account you can open instantly at the branch teller counter with just your CNIC, a valid remittance receipt, and a simple undertaking, no separate documentation trip required. You can choose to convert your existing COC payment, in full or in part, into the new account at the moment you open it. A related Hamara Pakistan Remittance Plus Account is available even if you aren't currently receiving remittances through the OTC channel. Faysal Bank has run limited-time account-opening incentives on this product before (such as a cash credit for opening and depositing a first remittance) — confirm what's currently active directly with the bank, since promotional terms and their expiry dates change.

Faysal Islami Tez Tareen Asaan Remittance Account

A separate current account product designed specifically to receive remittances directly rather than collect them over the counter. It's a remunerative (profit-paying) account, so Zakat applies as per government regulation; local credits other than incoming remittances aren't permitted on this account, and it carries a maximum remittance limit of PKR 3,000,000 with its own daily transaction limits. Opened at any Faysal Bank branch nationwide with a one-page account opening form.

Sohni Dharti Remittance Program (SDRP)

A State Bank of Pakistan loyalty initiative that rewards Pakistanis sending money home through formal, SBP-regulated channels. Remitters earn points on every transfer sent through a participating institution, redeemable at participating Public Sector Entities for free or discounted services, via a dedicated SDRP mobile app (iOS and Android, English and Urdu). Faysal Bank participates as a member of 1LINK and the Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI). Roshan Digital Account holders earn points only on the portion of funds consumed locally — not on amounts invested in property, stocks, or National/International Prize Bonds/Certificates.
