  • Free, instant transfers
  • PKR 250,000 per transaction/day
  • One bank link at a time

Link your Raast ID to Faysal Bank in the DigiBank app in under a minute \u2014 your mobile number becomes your account number for free instant transfers.

  • Zero cost to send or receive via Raast
  • Your mobile number can only link to one bank at a time
  • PKR 250,000 cap per transaction and per day, combined
  • Raast itself is run by the State Bank of Pakistan, not any single bank

Raast is Pakistan's national instant payment system, run by the State Bank of Pakistan — not a Faysal Bank product, but every bank including Faysal plugs into it. Once your account is linked, your own mobile number becomes your account number for receiving money, and sending or receiving through Raast costs nothing.

How to Link Your Raast ID to Faysal Bank

StepWhat to do
1Log in to Faysal DigiBank App or Internet Banking
2Tap on RAAST in the menu
3Select RAAST ID Management
4Tap "Link my Account"

That's it — your registered mobile number is now your Raast ID for your Faysal Bank account, and anyone can send you money using just that number, no IBAN or account number needed.

You Can Only Link One Bank at a Time

A Raast ID (your mobile number) can only be linked to one bank account across the entire banking system at any given moment. If your number is already linked to another bank, you have to delink it there first before you can link it to Faysal Bank — the system won't let two banks claim the same Raast ID simultaneously.

Sending Money via Raast

To send a payment: log in to Faysal DigiBank, tap RAAST, then select RAAST Payment from the sub-menu. You can only send to a Raast ID that's actually linked to an account — if the recipient hasn't registered theirs, the transfer won't go through, so confirm with them first.

Raast Transaction Limits

Each individual Raast transaction is capped at PKR 250,000, which is also the total daily limit per day through Faysal Bank — so a single large transfer and your entire day's Raast activity share the same PKR 250,000 ceiling. For anything larger, use IBFT or a standard bank transfer instead.

What Raast Actually Is

Raast was launched nationally by the State Bank of Pakistan in January 2021 as the country's first instant, end-to-end digital payment system, built to move money between banks, businesses, and individuals in real time at no cost to the user. Faysal Bank is one of many participating banks — Raast itself is regulated and operated by SBP, not by any individual bank.
