Bank of Khyber ATM Network & Card Guide

Part of PakFinHub's BOK coverage — see the full bank overview.

  • On-Site & Offsite ATMs
  • PayPak, JCB, Mastercard

A Bank of Khyber ATM lets you withdraw cash, check your balance, and — at many machines — deposit cash or pay a utility bill without visiting a branch. This page covers BOK's ATM network, activation steps, and what to do if your card gets stuck or stops working.

ATM network type confirmed from BOK's official Digital Banking / ATM pages (bok.com.pk). Exact ATM count and inter-bank withdrawal charges change periodically — confirm current figures with BOK directly.

Activating Your BOK ATM Card

New BOK debit cards are typically activated at the issuing branch or via the BOK Digital app on first use, with a PIN set before the first withdrawal. Memorize the PIN — don't write it down. Change it periodically through the app or an ATM's PIN-change menu, and never share it with anyone, including a caller claiming to be from BOK.

If Your BOK ATM Card Stops Working

Card declined at an ATM

Usually a daily withdrawal limit reached, an expired card, or a temporary block after repeated incorrect PIN attempts — check status in the BOK Digital app first.

Card retained by the machine

Contact BOK's 24/7 call center immediately to report it and, if it's not a BOK-branded ATM, also note the machine's operator for reference.

Cash not dispensed but account debited

This resolves automatically in most cases within a few business days; if it doesn't, file a formal complaint with the transaction reference.

Other-Bank ATM Withdrawals & Charges

Using a BOK card at another bank's ATM incurs an inter-bank charge. The rate depends on card type — PayPak/JCB-PayPak and Mastercard are priced differently. Rates below are BOK's published figures from its Schedule of Bank Charges, Conventional Branches, effective July–December 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if a BOK Atm keeps my card?

Contact BOK's 24/7 call center immediately to report a retained card, and note the ATM's location and, if it belongs to another bank, that bank's name as well.

Can I use my BOK Atm card at other banks' machines?

Yes. A PayPak card costs Rs 35 per domestic off-net 1-Link withdrawal, and a Mastercard debit card costs the same Rs 35, both inclusive of FED; international withdrawals run 3–4% of the amount or a flat minimum, whichever is higher, depending on the card.

Before a long trip or travel abroad, it's worth confirming your BOK Atm card's daily withdrawal limit and international usability directly with BOK, since limits that are perfectly fine for daily domestic use can feel restrictive once you're relying on a card away from home.

It's also worth knowing that cash deposit machines, where available, work differently from standard withdrawal-only ATMs — they typically accept cash directly into your account without a deposit slip, though daily deposit limits and note-denomination restrictions still apply and are worth confirming before relying on one for a large deposit.
