Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for the Khyber Karobar Support Program?

Applicants aged 18 to 55 who are permanent residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a business located in the province and a viable business plan, are eligible. Government employees and current students are not.

What is the loan limit under KKSP?

Financing ranges from a minimum of Rs 100,000 to a maximum of Rs 1,000,000, repayable over up to 5 years.

Can a student apply for KKSP?

No. BOK explicitly excludes anyone currently enrolled as a regular student in an educational institution.

Does KKSP require collateral?

Not necessarily — two personal guarantees (with at least one from a BPS-12+ provincial government servant) can substitute for property or liquid security.

Is there a penalty for paying off a KKSP loan early?

No. Balloon payments aren't allowed, but early adjustment of the full loan is permitted without any penalty.

Lining up a guarantor before you apply saves a round trip to the branch — a provincial government servant at BPS-12 or above is the preferred guarantor type BOK lists, and one guarantor cannot back more than two KKSP loans at once, so confirm your guarantor's availability isn't already spoken for.
