Standard Chartered Lost or Stolen Card
What to do the moment you realize your SCB debit or credit card is missing — the number to call, the app-based block option, and how replacement works.
- 24/7 Reporting
- Instant Block
- Official Number
Card lost or stolen right now? Call SCB's 24/7 Contact Centre immediately on 111-002-002. Your card is instantly secured against unauthorized transactions the moment you report it — don't wait until morning or until you're near a branch.
A missing card is one of those moments where speed matters more than which channel you use. Standard Chartered Pakistan gives you three ways to report it — phone, app, or Online Banking — and all three result in the same outcome: the card number is blocked so it can't be used again, and a replacement is issued. What differs is how fast you can act and whether you can do it yourself without waiting on hold.
Three Ways to Report It
Call 111-002-002
SCB's 24/7 Contact Centre. Works for both debit and credit cards, and is the fastest option if you don't have app access at that moment.
SC Mobile App
Credit cards can be blocked instantly and a replacement requested in the same flow. Debit cards can be managed and reissued via Manage Debit Card / Debit Card Issuance.
Online Banking
Log in, go to card management, and follow the on-screen steps to block the card and request a replacement to your registered mailing address.

Temporary Lock vs Reporting Lost/Stolen — Know the Difference
| Situation | What To Do |
|---|---|
| You can't find the card but it's probably at home | Use the temporary lock feature in the app (where available) — this pauses the same card number without issuing a new one. |
| The card was actually lost outside, or stolen | Report it as lost/stolen. This permanently blocks that card number, since the details may be compromised, and a new card is issued. |
| You're not sure which applies | Treat it as lost/stolen and call 111-002-002. It's safer to get a new card number than to risk an exposed one. |
The temporary-lock vs. permanent-block distinction reflects how card-locking features generally work across Standard Chartered's markets; confirm which specific cards support in-app temporary lock in Pakistan directly with SCB, as feature availability can vary by card type.
After You Report It
Once the card is blocked, SCB issues a replacement to your registered mailing address. A replacement fee may apply depending on the card type and circumstances of the loss — confirm the current fee when you call or in the app, since it isn't a fixed published figure and can vary. If you notice any transaction on your statement that you didn't make, raise it as a disputed transaction through the same 111-002-002 line or via the Helpline & Complaints process, rather than assuming the block alone resolves it.
Frequently Asked
What if I find the card after reporting it lost?
Once a card is reported lost or stolen and blocked, that card number is permanently deactivated — finding it again doesn't reactivate it. You'll need to use the replacement card instead.
Does blocking my card affect my other SCB accounts?
No — blocking a specific debit or credit card only affects that card. Your underlying bank account and other cards remain active and usable.
How long does a replacement card take to arrive?
This depends on your city and delivery method. Ask for an estimated timeline when you report the card, and track the replacement's status through the app or Online Banking if that option is available for your card type.
Good For
