SCB's official Schedule of Charges lists a specific set of services that are free when requested through SC Mobile but would otherwise carry a fee at a branch: Pay Order issuance, Withholding Tax Certificate, Maintenance/Bank Certificate, TDR Certificate, Balance Confirmation Certificate, Proceed Realisation Certificate, and Statement of Account issuance. That's a real cost reason to use the app over a branch visit for these specific requests, not just convenience.
