Standard Chartered Mutual Funds & Priority Banking
Wealth Solutions investment options and relationship-banking tiers, explained together.
- Priority Banking
- Mutual Funds
- Naya Pakistan Certificate
Standard Chartered Priority Banking requires PKR 4,000,000+ in current account balance or PKR 8,000,000+ quarterly average AUM. Mutual funds through Wealth Solutions carry a sales load up to 3% of NAV and a management fee up to 3% p.a., per SCB's official Schedule of Charges.
Standard Chartered Pakistan splits its higher-value customer offering into two connected pieces: Priority and Premium Banking relationship tiers, and Wealth Solutions, where mutual fund and investment access actually sits. The eligibility thresholds and pricing below are pulled directly from SCB's official Schedule of Charges rather than marketing copy.

What Priority Clients Get Free
Qualified Priority clients get a long list of waived fees — free cheque book issuance, stop payments, pay orders/demand drafts, interbank funds transfers, intercity cash withdrawals, international ATM withdrawals through SCB ATMs, RTGS, and a 100% processing fee waiver on Home Finance — plus a 50% waiver on first-year locker rental and annual fee waivers on Priority debit cards and most credit cards. Premium clients get a narrower but still meaningful set: free Online Banking, SMS alerts, eStatements, and a 100% Home Finance processing fee waiver.
Mutual Funds & Wealth Solutions Pricing
| Fee | Rate |
|---|---|
| Sales Load (front/back end, cumulative) | Up to 3% of NAV per unit |
| Management Fee | Up to 3% p.a., charged daily on net assets |
| Combined Sales + Contingent Load Cap | 5% |
SCB earns part of the management fee back from the fund house itself, and the exact load structure varies by fund — always check the specific fund's Offering Document or Term Sheet rather than assuming the maximum applies uniformly. Bancassurance (Takaful/insurance) pricing is set entirely by the underlying product provider, not SCB, so check your policy documents directly for those charges.

Where SCBPL's Own Share Price Fits In
It's worth distinguishing SCB's mutual fund access from SCBPL's own listed equity: mutual funds sold through Wealth Solutions are third-party managed funds, entirely separate from Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited's own stock, which trades on PSX under the symbol SCBPL. See our dedicated Share Price & Financial Results page for SCBPL's own listed fundamentals.
