Standard Chartered ATM — Locations & Access

How SCB cardholders access ATMs nationwide, and what to do if a card stops working.

  • Official Locator
  • International Access

Standard Chartered ATM charges, per the bank's official Schedule of Charges: Rs 2.5 per 1-Link balance enquiry, Rs 35 per Saadiq 1-Link cash withdrawal, and up to 8% spread on international ATM withdrawals — plus a flat Rs 1,000 fee for foreign-issued cards used at SCB's own ATMs.

Standard Chartered's own ATM footprint is smaller than domestic banks with hundreds of branches, but SCB debit and credit cardholders aren't limited to SCB-branded machines — access extends across Pakistan's shared 1LINK network. The figures below are the bank's actual published charges, not estimates.

If Your Card Stops Working

If an SCB debit or credit card is declined, retained by an ATM, or simply stops working, call the general complaints line at 111-002-002 immediately. Common causes include an expired card, a dormant account, incorrect PIN attempts triggering a temporary block, or a card flagged for suspected fraud — the same helpline can clarify which applies and, if needed, initiate a replacement card.

Typical ATM Charges

Withdrawals at SCB's own branded ATMs carry no charge for the cardholder. Beyond ATM-specific fees, an Inter Bank Funds Transfer (IBFT) done at an ATM or through digital channels is priced at 0.1% or PKR 200 per transaction — whichever is lower — once a monthly threshold of PKR 25,000 in transfers is exceeded, per SCB's official rate card.

ATM Limits

Daily ATM withdrawal limits at SCB are set per account and card tier, and can typically be viewed or adjusted within the SC Mobile app or Online Banking. If you're planning a large one-time withdrawal, check your current limit in advance rather than making repeated trips to an ATM.

Frequently Asked

Does SCB charge for balance inquiries at other banks' ATMs?

Inter-bank balance inquiries typically carry a smaller fee than withdrawals — confirm the current figure in SCB's Schedule of Charges.

Can I deposit cash at any SCB ATM?

Cash deposit functionality depends on the specific ATM model; not every SCB ATM supports deposits, so check the locator listing for that feature.
