Sindh Bank & PMYB&ALS

The PM's Youth Business & Agriculture Loan Scheme through Sindh Bank: three financing tiers, real markup rates, and the exact online application path.

  • 3 Financing Tiers
  • 0%–7% Markup
  • Online-Only Application

Sindh Bank is one of 15 participating commercial, Islamic, and SME banks under the Prime Minister's Youth Business & Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS) — a Government of Pakistan initiative to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among youth through low-markup business and agriculture loans. Unlike a typical bank product, the terms here are set at the government-program level, not by Sindh Bank individually, so the tiers and rates below apply the same way whichever participating bank you choose.

The Three Financing Tiers

PMYB&ALS loans are segregated into three tiers based on loan size, each carrying a different markup rate:

TierLoan RangeMarkup Rate
Tier 1Up to Rs. 0.5 Million0%
Tier 2Above Rs. 0.5M up to Rs. 1.5 Million5%
Tier 3Above Rs. 1.5M up to Rs. 7.5 Million7%

Note that Tier 1 is genuinely interest-free — a 0% markup — making it a meaningfully different proposition from Tier 2 or Tier 3, not just a smaller version of the same loan.
