Finance Against Deposit

Sindh Bank Rapid Finance Facility

Instant cash against your own savings certificate or deposit — up to 90% of its value, without cashing it out or losing what it earns.

  • Up to 90% of Deposit Value
  • Savings Stay Intact
  • Minimum Documentation

Sindh Bank's Rapid Finance Facility is a loan secured against your own liquid savings — a Term Deposit Receipt (TDR), Defence Savings Certificate, Special Savings Certificate, Regular Income Certificate, or a lien on your current/savings account balance — rather than against income or an asset like a car or house. The appeal is straightforward: you get cash quickly without breaking a certificate early or losing the profit it's still earning.

How It Works

Rather than encashing your certificate or withdrawing your deposit, Sindh Bank places a lien on it as security and lends against its present encashment value. You keep earning on the underlying deposit (where applicable) while repaying the loan separately, and the lien is released once the facility is settled.

Demand / Term Finance

A lump-sum loan for a fixed period, up to a maximum of 4 years.

Running / Revolving Finance

A revolving credit line instead of a lump sum, drawn down and repaid as needed against the same security.

Eligible Security

Lien on a Current, Saving, DDPS, or Fixed Account — or over a TDR, Defence Savings Certificate, Special Savings Certificate, Regular Income Certificate, or other pledge-able certificate.

One eligibility detail worth knowing: if you're pledging a certificate other than a TDR, it needs to be at least 6 months old at the time of loan processing.

Documents You'll Need

Minimum documentation is one of this facility's selling points, but you'll still need: a copy of your valid DSC/TDR/SSC/RIC or other certificate, valid CNIC copy, 2 recent photographs, a copy of your last paid utility bill, a duly filled Borrower's Basic Facts Sheet (CF-1, as prescribed by SBP), your last 6 months' account statement (where applicable), last 3 months' salary slips if salaried, or a pension card/certificate if you're a pensioner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much can I borrow under Sindh Bank's Rapid Finance Facility?

Up to a maximum of 90% of the present encashment value of your liquid security — such as a Term Deposit Receipt (TDR), Defence Savings Certificate, Special Savings Certificate, Regular Income Certificate, or cash deposit.

Do I have to break my savings certificate to use Rapid Finance Facility?

No. The facility works by placing a lien on your deposit or certificate rather than encashing it, so your savings or investment stays intact and continues earning while you access financing against its value.

What is the maximum tenor for Sindh Bank's Rapid Finance Facility?

Up to 4 years for a Demand Finance or Term Finance structure, or it can be arranged as a Running/Revolving Finance line instead, with markup paid monthly or quarterly.
