- Go to insta.habibmetro.com and select Sign Up.
- Choose to identify yourself by Account Number or IBAN.
- Enter your CNIC, account number, registered mobile number, and email address.

RAAST — Instant Payments
HabibMetro supports RAAST, Pakistan's own instant payment system, directly through Insta. Once you link a RAAST ID (typically your mobile number) to your account through mobile or web banking, you can send and receive money using just that ID — no need to share or remember your full IBAN or account number. Setup is a short in-app flow: sign in, register your number, confirm with an OTP, done.

WhatsApp Banking: A Channel Most Guides Miss
Beyond the app and internet banking, HabibMetro also runs a dedicated WhatsApp Banking channel — 24/7 access to banking services and live agent support directly through WhatsApp, without opening the Insta app at all. What's New: Payments Platform Upgrade (June 2026)
HabibMetro announced in June 2026 that it selected BPC's SmartVista platform to modernize how it issues cards and processes transactions, moving off legacy infrastructure. For the bank's 850,000+ existing cardholders, the practical upshot is a roadmap rather than an immediate change: HabibMetro says the upgrade is intended to support virtual card issuance, Google Pay compatibility, faster ATM/POS transaction processing, and stronger transaction security through tokenisation. None of these are confirmed as live yet as of this writing — treat them as planned capabilities the new platform is built to support, and check the Insta app or a branch for what's actually available today.
