Here's exactly what each service costs, and which channel to use to request them, sourced directly from the bank's official Schedule of Bank Charges.

You can stop payment on a specific cheque or a range of cheques (from — to) directly through AL Habib Netbanking or the Mobile App, using the "Stop Cheque" option — no branch visit required. You can also check a cheque's status through the "Cheque Inquiry" option in the same channels.

Cheque deposited but returned

If a cheque you deposit bounces due to insufficient funds in the payer's account, that's a "returned unpaid" charge on the payer's side, not something billed to you as the depositor.

Do it online first

Cheque book requests, stop-payment instructions, and cheque status inquiries are all available through AL Habib Netbanking and the Mobile App — a branch visit usually isn't necessary.

Fee schedule changes twice a year

Bank AL Habib revises its Schedule of Bank Charges every January and July — the figures above apply for the July–December 2026 period specifically.
