Is Bank of Punjab open today?

To plan a visit today or tomorrow, match the day in Pakistan to the table above, then check whether a holiday, local closure or special schedule applies. This page is a schedule guide; it does not receive live open-or-closed updates from individual branches.

Find the exact location using BOP’s official branch network. Confirm the branch name and code, rather than relying only on the city. Ask the branch whether your transaction has an earlier cutoff and whether you need documents or an appointment.

Is BOP open on Saturday?

Saturday service is limited to designated branches. BOP also identifies wheat-procurement branches for Saturday service during the wheat season. A seasonal designation should not be treated as year-round availability.

1. Visit the official BOP website and look under Branches for “Saturday Banking Branches List”.
2. Find your location and match its branch code.
3. Confirm the intended Saturday date and whether the service you need is available.
4. Check for a newer holiday or special-hours announcement before leaving.

Do not assume that a branch offers Saturday banking because a nearby location does. If your usual branch is unavailable, ask whether another designated location can handle your particular request.

BOP Friday timing and break time

Friday public dealing is split by the prayer break shown in the table. Plan to arrive before the break with enough time to complete your transaction, or after service resumes. The published closing time is not a guarantee that a transaction started just before closing can be completed.

For questions about BOP lunch time on other weekdays, confirm with the branch. Do not apply the Friday prayer interval automatically to every working day or confuse staff lunch arrangements with customer counter availability.

Ramadan timings and public holidays

During Ramadan, check the announcement for that specific year and period. Customer public-dealing hours and staff office hours can differ, so use the schedule intended for customers. This regular weekly table should not be used as a Ramadan timetable.

Around Eid or another public holiday, check the relevant BOP or State Bank of Pakistan notice. A special opening may apply only to named branches or services. Confirm that it covers your location and transaction before travelling.

What if the branch is closed?
