UBL CashPlus is UBL's personal loan product — a clean (unsecured), non-end-use loan for salaried individuals, meaning UBL doesn't require you to justify what the money is for. It's a term loan repaid in fixed monthly instalments, not a revolving credit line. Below is how it works, plus a calculator so you can estimate your own instalment before applying.

UBL Personal Loan (CashPlus) at a Glance

Maximum Limit
Rs 3,000,000
Tenure
1 – 4 years
Minimum Net Income
Rs 40,000/month
Auto-Debit
Mandatory

A UBL personal loan through CashPlus is unsecured, so approval depends heavily on your documented income rather than collateral.

Confirmed directly against UBL's live official UBL CashPlus product page (ubldigital.com), re-verified 2026-09-02 — the maximum limit (Rs 3,000,000, up from a previously lower published figure) and minimum net income (Rs 40,000/month, up from a previously lower published figure) reflect UBL's current terms as of that check, replacing outdated figures this page had carried.

EMI Calculator

Estimate your monthly instalment. This is an illustrative reducing-balance calculation for your own planning — it is not a loan offer, and UBL's actual approved markup rate depends on your risk profile; confirm the exact rate with UBL before applying.

This calculator uses a standard reducing-balance amortization formula. UBL CashPlus markup is contractually calculated on a 365-day basis per UBL's own FAQ — actual instalments from UBL may differ slightly from this estimate. Always confirm the exact figure in your loan agreement.

A Secured Alternative: UBL Secured Personal Loan

Separate from CashPlus, UBL also offers a Secured Personal Loan product, open to both salaried individuals (age 21–60 at maturity) and self-employed businessmen/professionals (age 21–65 at maturity). Being secured, it's typically backed by collateral such as a deposit or investment, which can mean a lower markup rate than an unsecured CashPlus loan — confirm current terms directly with UBL.

A Revolving Option: UBL CashLine

Beyond CashPlus and the Secured Personal Loan, UBL also runs UBL CashLine — a revolving credit line rather than a fixed-instalment term loan. It doesn't currently have a dedicated page on PakFinHub, but it's a real product worth knowing about if you want access to funds without re-applying for a fresh loan each time.

ChargeAmount
Processing feeRs 4,000 or 1% of the loan amount, whichever is higher
Annual charges (renewal fee)Rs 5,000
Late payment feeRs 1,500
Insurance charges (Credit Protector)0.2% of total monthly principal outstanding (vendor-quoted, subject to change)
Limit enhancement feeRs 3,000 per limit enhancement

How Lenders Assess Personal Loan Applications

Because CashPlus is unsecured, UBL's approval decision leans heavily on documented, verifiable income rather than assets — a consistent 12-month salary credit history typically carries more weight than a high but irregular income. Existing account relationship also matters: applicants who already bank with UBL and have a track record on file tend to move through underwriting faster than entirely new-to-bank applicants, though both are eligible under the published criteria.

What Happens After Approval

Once approved, CashPlus funds are typically disbursed directly into your UBL account rather than as a physical cheque or cash disbursement, and the first instalment auto-debit begins on the schedule set out in your loan agreement — not immediately on disbursement. Reading that schedule carefully before signing avoids the common surprise of an instalment date that doesn't line up neatly with your own salary credit date.
