Asset quality continued to improve, with the NPL ratio falling to 2.48% (December 2025: 3.41%) even as the bank maintained a strengthened loan loss coverage ratio of 102.35% (December 2025: 96.77%), and the branch network grew to 682, up from 674 at the end of Q1 2026. During the period, PACRA also carried out the long-term entity rating upgrade to AA/A1+ referenced above.

H1 2026 figures are un-audited and confirmed directly from Soneri Bank's own PSX filing (Ref: SBL/Secy/PSX/26/181, dated 19 August 2026) — the condensed interim Statement of Financial Position, Profit & Loss Account, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Cash Flow Statement approved by the Board at its 217th meeting for the half year ended 30 June 2026. Capital Adequacy Ratio, NPL ratio, loan loss coverage, and branch count come from the bank's Directors' Review commentary, which is not yet separately available as a standalone document — these figures are corroborated identically across two independent outlets republishing the bank's own announcement, Business Recorder and The Nation (both 20 August 2026).

Dividend History

Soneri Bank has paid cash dividends in recent years, with per-share payouts varying annually based on the Board's recommendation and shareholder approval at the AGM. For the exact current-year dividend and ex-dividend date, check Soneri's official Investor Relations page, since dividend amounts change from year to year and are formally declared only at the AGM.

Wealth & Investment Access

Soneri Bank does not currently run its own asset management company or branded mutual fund range. Its Wealth section gives customers access to funds managed by three separate, established asset managers:

HBL Asset Management

Third-party mutual fund access via Soneri's Wealth desk.

MCB Investment Management Limited

Third-party mutual fund access via Soneri's Wealth desk.

ABL Funds

Third-party mutual fund access via Soneri's Wealth desk.

Wealth partner list confirmed from Soneri Bank's official Personal > Wealth page.

This is set to change: at its 216th Board meeting on 27 April 2026, Soneri approved establishing its own wholly owned Asset Management Company, to be capitalised with an initial Rs. 1 billion funded entirely by the Bank. The move is still subject to licensing approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and as of this writing no launch date or licence has been announced — so the three third-party managers above remain the only way to access Soneri-linked funds for now.

AMC subsidiary approval confirmed from Soneri Bank's own PSX notice (Ref: SBL/Secy/PSX/26/124, 27 April 2026); no further licensing update has been published since.
