Allied Bank ATM card charges are Rs 35 flat (including FED) for an off-net cash withdrawal at another bank's 1LINK ATM, and free at Allied Bank's own ("on-net") ATMs. A separate, lower-percentage charge — 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower — applies only to Inter Bank Fund Transfers made through an ATM, not to ordinary cash withdrawals.

Allied Bank ATM card charges are set in the bank's official Schedule of Charges, effective 1 July to 31 December 2026 and updated twice a year. Below are the fees that matter most day to day — withdrawals, balance enquiries, and transfers — plus how to activate a new card and what to do if yours stops working.

Off-net fee (Rs 35/txn) per Allied Bank's official Schedule of Charges, Jul–Dec 2026. Advance tax rate (0.8% on cash withdrawals exceeding Rs 50,000/day for non-filers) per FBR Section 231AB, as raised by the Finance Act 2025 (effective 1 July 2025) from the previous 0.6% and left unchanged by the Finance Act 2026 for Tax Year 2026-27. This calculator gives an estimate for planning purposes only — actual tax withheld depends on your bank's specific calculation method and any aggregation across accounts.

Temporary Limit Enhancement Fees

Classic / Classic PlusRs 250

Platinum / Sapphire 200Rs 400
PremiumRs 600

Allied Bank's ATM Network

Allied Bank runs 1,699 ATMs across Pakistan (1,447 on-site, 244 off-site, plus 8 Mobile Banking Units), along with Drive-Thru ATMs at select locations for withdrawing cash without leaving your car. Through the shared 1LINK switch, ABL debit and basic cards also work at thousands of other-bank ATMs nationwide — but as the table above shows, transactions off Allied Bank's own network carry a modest fee.

Activating a New ATM/Debit Card

Allied Bank's Self Card Activation Service lets customers activate a new debit or prepaid card themselves, free of charge via a biometric-enabled ATM (the Rs 15 biometric fee applies to ongoing cardless transactions, not activation itself). New cards can also be activated through the myABL app once linked to your account.

If Your Card Stops Working or Is Lost

Block Immediately

Use the myABL app's card management screen to instantly deactivate a lost or stolen card, or call the helpline at 042-111-225-225.

Temporary Limit Issues

Use the Temporary Limit Enhancement feature (see table above) for one-off large transactions or travel rather than requesting a permanent limit change.

Reissue

Visit a branch or request a replacement through myABL; replacement fees vary by card tier per the Schedule of Charges (see the Cards & Discounts page for exact figures).

Understanding "On-Net" vs "Off-Net" — and Why It's Not the IBFT Rate

A common point of confusion: Allied Bank's Schedule of Charges lists two different small fees that sound similar but apply to different services. The flat Rs 35 (incl. FED) charge applies specifically to an off-net cash withdrawal — physically taking money out at another bank's ATM. The percentage-based charge (0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower, free up to Rs 25,000/month) applies to an Inter Bank Fund Transfer (IBFT) initiated from an ATM — moving money electronically to another bank account, not withdrawing cash. Confusing the two is an easy mistake, since both fall under the same "ATM Transaction Charges" section of the SOC.

Foreign Currency Debit Card Transactions

Any Allied Bank debit card transaction settled in a foreign currency — whether withdrawn abroad or spent on an international e-commerce site — is subject to a currency conversion fee of 4% of the transaction amount or Rs 100, whichever is higher. This is a common source of unexpectedly high statement charges for customers making cross-border purchases; a Foreign Currency Visa Debit Card (available for Roshan Digital and Foreign Currency Account holders) may offer better pricing than routing foreign spend through a standard PKR debit card.
