Abhi Bank Share Price — Financial Results & IPO
Abhi Microfinance Bank isn't publicly listed yet, but here's the record 2025 turnaround and the planned PSX IPO behind the headlines.
- H1 2026 Profit: PKR 1.502bn
- Draft Prospectus Filed, PSX (Aug 2026)
- Last Verified: Sep 4, 2026
Abhi Bank share price, direct answer: there is no current Abhi Microfinance Bank share price to check — the bank is not yet listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. In early August 2026 it filed a draft prospectus for a Main Board listing: 132,000,000 new shares (13.65% of post-IPO paid-up capital), via Book Building at a PKR 15 per share floor price, open for public comment through August 10, 2026. Separately, on August 18, 2026, the Bank released audited results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, showing profit after tax of PKR 1.502 billion — already ahead of its entire FY2025 profit.
H1 2026 Results (Audited) — Six Months Ended 30 June 2026
- Profit After Tax
- PKR 1.502 billion
- Total Assets
- PKR 101.55 billion
- Deposits
- PKR 86.19 billion
- Revenue
- PKR 10.52 billion
- Gross Advances
- PKR 50.07 billion
- Shareholders' Equity
- PKR 3.11 billion
- H1 2025 Profit (Comparative)
- PKR 200.2 million
- Audit Opinion
- Unmodified
The headline number: PKR 1.502 billion profit in just six months beats the Bank's entire record-setting FY2025 profit of PKR 1.019 billion — and is more than 7x its own PKR 200.2 million profit in the same six months a year earlier. Total assets crossed PKR 100 billion for the first time, up about 32% from PKR 76.80 billion at end-2025. Revenue grew 80.1% year-on-year to PKR 10.52 billion — already about 74% of the Bank's full-year 2025 revenue of PKR 14.25 billion, in just half the time. Perhaps most significant for a bank that carried a going-concern flag in its FY2025 audit: shareholders' equity reversed from a negative PKR 397 million at end-2025 to a positive PKR 3.11 billion, and the Capital Adequacy Ratio improved from negative 20.28% to negative 6.26% — still below SBP's required minimum, but a meaningful recovery. Separately, the Bank's PSX draft-prospectus notice confirms the sponsors obtained a five-year regulatory relaxation from SBP on this capital shortfall, valid until November 2029, giving the Bank a defined runway to close the remaining CAR gap rather than an open-ended one. The Bank's auditors, Baker Tilly Mehmood Idrees Qamar, issued an unmodified opinion on these results.
H1 2026 figures confirmed directly from Abhi Microfinance Bank's official H1 2026 results press release, republished by ProPakistani, August 18, 2026. Regulatory relaxation detail confirmed from the Bank's own PSX draft-prospectus notice.

Capital Position: What the Auditor Flagged
PKF F.R.A.N.T.S. Chartered Accountants (Lahore) flagged a "Material Uncertainty relating to Going Concern" in their FY2025 audit opinion. That's standard language auditors use when something in the disclosures raises doubt about a company's ability to keep operating — it doesn't automatically mean the opinion itself is qualified. Here, the trigger is straightforward: despite turning a profit in FY2025, the bank's net equity was still negative at Rs. 397.35 million as at 31 December 2025, well under SBP's Rs. 1,000 million Minimum Capital Requirement, and its Capital Adequacy Ratio sat at -20.28% against a required 15%.
By 31 March 2026 (unaudited), net equity had swung positive to Rs. 2,262.00 million — largely because SBP allowed a Rs. 2 billion advance against future share issuance from sponsor shareholder Abhi (Private) Limited to count within equity for capital-adequacy purposes. The Capital Adequacy Ratio was still below the regulatory floor at that date, at -14.84%. By 30 June 2026 (audited), equity had grown further to PKR 3.11 billion and CAR improved to -6.26% — still below the required 15%, but the clearest sign yet the turnaround plan is working. The Bank's turnaround plan, per its own disclosures, includes fresh equity injections, extended repayment terms on SBP and PMIC borrowings, and a push toward secured, gold-backed lending.
Confirmed directly from the Independent Auditor's Report and Notes 1.1 and 45 of Abhi Microfinance Bank's FY2025 audited financial statements, and Notes 1.1 and 34 of its Q1 2026 unaudited interim statements.
Planned IPO on the Pakistan Stock Exchange
This moved from press speculation to an actual filing in early August 2026: Abhi Microfinance Bank applied for a Main Board listing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, with its draft prospectus placed on the PSX website for public comment through August 10, 2026. The Initial Public Offering comprises 132,000,000 ordinary shares at a par value of PKR 10 each — 13.65% of the Bank's total post-IPO paid-up capital. It's structured as a Book Building offer: a floor price of PKR 15 per share (including a PKR 5 per share premium), with a maximum price band of up to 50%. Of the total issue, 75% (99,000,000 shares) goes through book building, while the remaining 25% (33,000,000 shares) is reserved for retail and the general public at the strike price, fully underwritten. Arif Habib Limited, Topline Securities Limited, and Growth Securities (Private) Limited are the Joint Lead Managers.
Bank leadership has framed the raise as more than a capital exercise. In public statements around the filing, they've described the last 18 months — since the January 2025 acquisition — as building "a profitable, resilient and digital-first institution with a strong foundation for sustainable growth," and the IPO as the next phase: strengthening the capital base, expanding lending capacity, accelerating digital banking, and widening financial access across Pakistan. Leadership has also floated gold-backed lending as a growth focus, pointing to India's Muthoot Finance as the model they have in mind, and separately mentioned exploring a gold-tokenization license and a Pakistan–Middle East crypto payments corridor. In an August 5, 2026 Bloomberg interview, Abhi co-founder and CEO Omair Ansari said the group expects to launch the IPO "in early September this year" — a target timeline from the sponsor, not a confirmed PSX listing date, so treat it as indicative rather than final.
Don't confuse any of this with the Rs. 2 billion advance-against-shares arrangement mentioned above; that's a private deal with Abhi (Private) Limited, not the public listing.
Until the listing actually completes, there's no ticker and no live share price to track. If you're searching for an Abhi Bank "share price," what you're finding is almost certainly coverage of the IPO plan, not an existing traded stock.
IPO terms confirmed from ABHI Microfinance Bank's draft prospectus, as reported following its placement on the PSX website for public comment (Profit by Pakistan Today, August 4, 2026). Earlier fundraising target and advisor details corroborated by Bloomberg and multiple Pakistani business outlets (ProPakistani, Business Recorder, Profit by Pakistan Today), late July 2026. Leadership quotes drawn from bylined commentary published around the filing, plus a Bloomberg "Insight with Haslinda Amin" interview with CEO Omair Ansari, August 5, 2026.
