HBL ReadyCash
Part of PakFinHub's HBL coverage — see the full bank overview.
HBL ReadyCash is a running finance facility, not a fixed-installment loan — you're approved for a credit limit and only pay markup on the amount you actually withdraw, for the number of days you hold it. Think of it as a standing cash reserve attached to your HBL account rather than a one-time lump sum. The facility renews annually, subject to review, so it's meant to stay open as an ongoing backstop rather than being closed once you've repaid a single draw.
Limit & Markup Rate
- Credit Limit
- Rs 150,000 – 3,000,000
- Markup Rate
- 33% p.a.
- Facility Type
- Running finance (revolving)
- Collateral
- None — unsecured
The 33% per annum markup rate has been in effect since December 1, 2023, per HBL's own product page — it's calculated daily on your outstanding balance, not the full approved limit. Markup is billed once a month in full, due by the 20th of the month; miss that and late payment charges kick in the next day.
Confirmed directly from HBL's official HBL ReadyCash page (hbl.com/personal/loans/hbl-readycash).
Daily Markup Cost Calculator
Since ReadyCash charges markup daily on whatever you've actually drawn — not the full limit — here's what that costs per day and per month at different outstanding amounts.
Calculated at HBL's published 33% p.a. markup rate, divided across 365 days — this is a PakFinHub estimate for illustration, not an official HBL figure. Your actual monthly bill also includes the 2% principal component and any applicable fees shown in the Fees & Charges table below. Confirm the exact current rate with HBL before relying on this for a real decision.
Fees & Charges
| Charge | Amount |
|---|---|
| Processing charges | Rs 6,000 or 1.25% of the loan amount, whichever is higher (upfront) |
| Annual renewal fee | Rs 5,000 |
| Late payment charges | Rs 1,250 + FED, per month |
| Limit enhancement fee | Rs 2,500 per limit enhancement |
Confirmed directly from HBL's official Schedule of Bank Charges (Exclusive of FED/ST), effective July 01, 2026 to December 31, 2026, cross-checked against HBL's own ReadyCash product page for the late payment figure.
HBL ReadyCash — Minimum Monthly Due & Repayment
Your minimum amount due each month is made up of three things: 2% of the outstanding principal, the accrued markup for the days you used the limit, and any applicable charges (processing fee, late payment, or annual fee, if due that cycle). That amount is debited automatically from your designated repayment account on the first of the following month. Pay only the minimum, and markup keeps accruing on whatever's left outstanding — this is a revolving facility, not one that clears itself.
| Debit Card Limit (attached to ReadyCash) | Amount |
|---|---|
| ATM cash withdrawal | Rs 500,000 |
| Funds transfer | Rs 300,000 |
| POS / online shopping | Rs 250,000 |

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does approval take?
Around 5 days for salaried applicants and 10 days for self-employed applicants, once all documents are submitted.
Can I increase my limit later?
Yes — you're eligible for a limit enhancement after 12 months if you still meet the criteria; apply at your branch.
