ABHI Bank App — Complete Feature Guide
Everything confirmed about the ABHI Bank app (formerly ABHI Pay), Abhi Microfinance Bank's official mobile wallet: how sign-up works and what the app actually does.
- Official Digital Wallet
- Renamed & Redesigned, Jul 2026
- Last Verified: Sep 4, 2026
ABHI Pay / ABHI Bank app, direct answer: the app formerly known as ABHI Pay is Abhi Microfinance Bank's official digital wallet — the bank's own site still calls it "your smart digital wallet for everyday banking." As of its 25 July 2026 update, the app itself has been renamed ABHI Bank on both stores, with a completely redesigned interface. It's on Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS, listed under "abhi-bank").
One detail worth flagging honestly: the app's Android package identifier is com.finja.simsim — and this isn't a third-party guess. Abhi Microfinance Bank's own official homepage links its app-download button straight to that exact Google Play listing, so the app itself is confirmed official. The package name is a naming pattern tied to Finja, a separate Pakistani fintech behind the SimSim wallet — not to be confused with FINCA Microfinance Bank (the entity Abhi was rebranded from). That points to some shared or licensed technology behind the app, though the bank doesn't explain the relationship anywhere on its public pages. One correction from an earlier version of this page: the app's own store listing now states plainly that it was previously branded "FINCA Pay" before becoming ABHI Pay and, most recently, ABHI Bank — so that FINCA-era branding did exist, contrary to what we said before.

How to Open an Account in the App
Opening an account through the app is quick: download it, enter your mobile number, confirm with an OTP, fill in a few identity details, set a 4-digit PIN, done. No paperwork, and the app's own listing doesn't call for a minimum balance to get started. Already a branch customer? You don't need a separate wallet account — just log into the app with your existing details.
The July 2026 Redesign
The app's biggest recent change is cosmetic and structural at once: a completely redesigned interface, faster navigation, and general performance and stability improvements, rolled out alongside the ABHI Bank rename. If you'd used the app before and it suddenly looks unfamiliar after updating, that's expected — same account, same underlying banking, new look.

App Security
Your account is tied to one mobile number and one device at a time — you can't run the app on two phones simultaneously. Switching handsets means verifying an OTP on the old device before the new one gets authorized. Every login and transaction triggers an SMS alert and an in-app notification, and the session logs you out automatically if you sit idle too long.
Wallet Charges (ABHI Pay / ABHI Bank App)
Opening the wallet itself costs nothing, per the Bank's Branchless Banking Schedule of Charges (1 July – 30 September 2026) — which still uses the "ABHI Pay" name, since it predates the app's rename. Deposit cash at an Abhi branch or through a UBL Omni/Easypaisa agent and there's no charge. Withdrawals are free at an Abhi branch too, though WHT still applies; go through a UBL Omni agent instead and you'll pay up to 1.7% of the amount plus WHT. Sending money to a CNIC via a JazzCash agent is tiered — roughly Rs. 40 under Rs. 1,000, climbing to about Rs. 440 for the Rs. 20,000–25,000 bracket. Wallet-to-wallet transfers within Abhi don't cost anything, and IBFT to another bank follows the usual 0.1%-or-Rs.200 rule once you're past Rs. 25,000 a month. Mobile top-ups, bill payments, and package purchases are free for your first three transactions each month, then Rs. 2–10 per transaction after that. Using an agent outside Abhi's own network — the interoperable agent network — costs more: a tiered service fee plus a flat Rs. 10 BVS charge on top.
Confirmed directly from Abhi Microfinance Bank's official Branchless Banking Schedule of Charges, effective 1 July – 30 September 2026. Full charge tables on the Deposits & Charges page.
