JS Bank and Zindigi Leadership Meet Minister of State Kayani on Digital Financial Inclusion
A JS Bank delegation led by President & CEO Basir Shamsie, alongside Zindigi's Chief Officer Noman Azhar and Chief Business Officer Atif Ishaque, met Minister of State for Railways and Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani at the Finance Division in Islamabad. The meeting covered strategies for expanding digital financial services in support of the government's cashless-economy and financial-inclusion agenda; the delegation commended ongoing government policy efforts to promote cashless business models and formal financial adoption.

JS Bank Wins Three Honours at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2026
JS Bank was recognized with three awards at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2026: SME Bank of the Year – Pakistan, Private Bank of the Year – Pakistan, and Pakistan Domestic AI Initiative of the Year. The SME award reflects the Bank's growth in SME financing, including one of the industry's highest SME-to-total-advances ratios; the AI award recognizes JSense AI, JS Bank's AI-powered customer assistant. President & CEO Basir Shamsie called the recognition a reflection of the Bank's focus on business banking, wealth management, and AI-led digital transformation. Zong and Zindigi Launch Z-Wallet Inside the My Zong App
Zong CMPak partnered with Zindigi, JS Bank's digital banking arm, to launch Z-Wallet — an embedded-finance wallet built directly into the My Zong App using Zindigi's Banking-as-a-Service infrastructure. Zong supplies the app and customer touchpoints; every underlying financial transaction runs through JS Bank's own branchless banking framework and regulatory approval, since Zong itself doesn't hold a payments license. JS Bank Strengthens Its Cards Partnership With Visa
JS Bank signed a renewed agreement with Visa at its Head Office in Lahore to expand its cards portfolio with a broader range of Visa-powered products. The signing was attended by Visa's Group Country Manager for North Africa, Levant & Pakistan, Leila Serhan, alongside JS Bank's President & CEO Basir Shamsie and COO Atif Malik. Zong CMPak & Zindigi Partner on G2P Digital Disbursements
Zong CMPak partnered with Zindigi to enable branchless-banking M-Wallets for Government-to-Person (G2P) bulk disbursements, aimed at delivering government poverty-alleviation and disaster-management payments directly to beneficiaries in remote and underserved areas via Zindigi's agent and ATM network. This is a separate, earlier partnership from the August 2026 Z-Wallet consumer launch above — this one is disbursement infrastructure, not a consumer wallet feature inside the Zong app.

Zindigi Launches Visa Virtual Debit Card
Zindigi introduced a Visa Virtual Debit Card that can be created instantly inside the Zindigi app for local and international transactions without a physical card, with 3D-secure authorization and the ability to block/unblock the card or toggle international transactions on and off.
