Getting the Annual Fee Waived
UBL will reverse the annual fee if combined primary and supplementary card retail spend (POS and e-commerce only — cash advances, bill payments and mobile top-ups don't count) reaches a set threshold within 60 days of the statement date the fee was charged on: Rs 50,000 for Classic, Rs 100,000 for Gold, and Rs 300,000 for Platinum. You need to call the UBL contact center (111-825-888) to request the reversal — it isn't automatic — and UBL states reversal requests are entertained up to 120 days from the statement date.
