DIB Lost or Stolen Card
Part of PakFinHub's DIB coverage — block it now, then replace it.
- 24/7 Phone Blocking
- WhatsApp Option
If your DIB card is lost or stolen, block it first and ask questions later — every minute it's active is a minute someone else could use it. Two ways to do that right now, both work 24/7.
Block It Immediately
| Channel | How |
|---|---|
| Phone Banking | Call 111-786-DIB (342). A Phone Banking Officer verifies your identity via security questions, then blocks the card. |
| WhatsApp Banking | Message DIB's official WhatsApp number, select Card Services, then the block/deactivate option, and complete OTP verification. |

Then Get a Replacement
| Card | Replacement Charge |
|---|---|
| Visa (Signature & Aayan) | Rs 900 |
| UnionPay (Silver & Gold) | Rs 900 |
| PayPak | Rs 800 + FED |
Request the replacement in the same call or WhatsApp session where you block the card — DIB issues it with the same account attributes as the blocked one. See our Cards & Discounts page for full card tier details.

Stay Safe While You Wait
DIB will never ask for your password, ATM PIN, CVV, or OTP by phone, WhatsApp, or email — not even to "help" block your card. Anyone asking for these while claiming to assist with a lost card is committing fraud. See our Cyber Security & Fraud page for how to report it.
Your Liability Before You Report It
Per DIB's official Debit Card Terms & Conditions, you must inform the bank in writing and report to DIB's Call Center at 111-786-342 as soon as your card is lost, misplaced, or stolen. For the period between the loss/theft and your report to DIB, you are liable for the actual amount lost on transactions carried out using the card or PIN. Once you've reported it, that liability shifts to DIB, and the card cannot be used again even if it's later found. This is exactly why calling the moment you notice a card is missing matters more than which channel you use to do it.
