FCY Current Account
| Detail | Terms |
|---|---|
| Currencies | PKR, USD, GBP, Euro, AED |
| Opening deposit | Rs 1,000 or the equivalent in the chosen currency |
| Minimum balance | None |
| Deposits/withdrawals | Unlimited, subject to sufficient balance and regulatory restrictions on FCY accounts |
| Statement | Free, every 6 months |
For the FCY variant specifically, DIB directs customers to their nearest branch or 111-786-342 rather than opening it purely online. A Debit Card is only issued on the PKR variant of this account.

FCY Term Deposit
Available in PKR, USD, GBP, and Euro, with monthly or maturity profit payout options. The rate depends on tenor, payment frequency, and amount — DIB doesn't publish one fixed FCY rate, since it moves with the bank's periodic rate sheet.
Early encashment: if you break the deposit before maturity, DIB applies the last tenor you actually completed, not your original booked tenor. A 1-year deposit encashed after 4 months, for example, earns the 3-month rate for the period actually held.

Freelancer FCY Account
DIB's Freelancer Account is a distinct product, available in PKR, USD, GBP, Euro, and AED, structured on a Qard contract (the bank doesn't owe investment profit on it, and the holder bears no risk of loss on it). It's a non-checking account, meaning withdrawal and usage are somewhat restricted, but funds can be used for international payments or withdrawn as PKR.
Exporters using this structure can retain USD 5,000 per month, or 50% of export proceeds (whichever is higher), in an Exporter Special Foreign Currency Account. Outward remittance from the account is allowed for personal and work-related payments abroad — things like digital services, subscriptions, certifications, or study fees. Exchange rates for inward remittance are announced daily by the bank, not fixed.

| Currency | Charge per Leaf |
|---|---|
| USD | $1.7 |
| GBP | £1.1 |
| EUR | €1.3 |
| AED | AED 5.5 |
